HCSO: Inmate wrongly believes breaking sprinkler will get him sent to prison

ROGERSVILLE — A Hawkins County Jail inmate who reportedly wants to be transferred from the jail to a state penitentiary is going about it the wrong way by allegedly destroying jail property.

Brian Allen Crable, 23, 910 Robertson Street, Kingsport, was served with a warrant Sunday for felony vandalism stemming from an incident which occurred earlier this month in which he allegedly broke a sprinkler head in his cell, causing a flood.

Crable is a state inmate who is currently serving a four year sentence for aggravated burglary and felony evading arrest out of Johnson County.
