| Drop in probation puzzles Minnehaha officials |

Minnehaha County had fewer people on felony probation in fiscal year 2014 than it did the year before, according to numbers released this week by the Unified Judicial System. On June 30, Minnehaha County had 1,248 people on felony probation. On the same day last year, there were 1,284. The number dropped even as overall felony crimes in the county increased and the county jail continues to swell through an increasing crime rate in the state's largest county. Read More. |
