RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — The Virginia Department of Corrections says a lease agreement with John Deere & Company will enhance its farming operations. The department announced the five-year lease on Monday in a news release. The agreement includes 14 tractors, one grain combine, one 12-row planter and one self-propelled forage harvester. The new equipment will replace machinery and implements that are outdated or worn. Read More. |
