| Escaped inmate caught trying to leave the state |

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- An Aberdeen inmate, who escaped authorities when he walked away from a court hearing, was taken into custody again when he attempted to leave the state on a bus. Authorities say Dillon Wade Bennett, 25, was at the Monroe County Circuit Court last Thursday to be arraigned on a grand jury indictment for burglary. The judge allowed him to sign papers to remain free on bond, but the Mississippi Department of Corrections had placed a hold on him for a parole violation. Read More. |
