| County approves inmate agreement |

An agreement that allows the City of Woodward to house city inmates at the Woodward County Jail was approved by Woodward County Commissioners Monday morning. The decision follows on the heals of the City of Woodward's approval of the same interlocal agreement. The several page document lines out who has control of city inmates while in county control. It also prescribes the city to provide transport as well as the administrative responsibility for all fees and court costs related to city inmates. But there is no fee incurred by the city for the housing of the inmates by the county. Commissioners also approved the calendar of regularly scheduled commissioner meetings, which includes when meetings will be offset because of holidays as well as the schedule of county holidays to be observed in 2015.
