A former University of Mississippi Medical Center employee has been sentenced to 14 months in federal prison for stealing patients Social Security numbers and other identifying information. Pamlia Johnson, age 41, of Jackson, had earlier pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud the United States, according to U.S. Attorney Gregory K. Davis of the Southern District of Mississippi.
