| New warden named for New Castle Community Corrections |

State Department of Correction Commissioner Robert M. Coupe on Tuesday announced the appointment of Carole Evans as warden of New Castle Community Corrections in Wilmington. Coupe praised Evans for her leadership, training, knowledge and experience, noting that her work in treatment "should prove to be beneficial as the Department continues on its current path to properly assess and address offenders' needs." Replacing Steven Wesley, who became warden of Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington, Evans is now responsible for the Plummer Community Corrections Center, Webb Community Corrections Center and the Hazel D.
