| Sibling corrections officers die in shooting |

MORVEN — Authorities were seeking a suspect in the Wednesday morning shooting death of two sibling Valdosta State Prison corrections officers at their home in this Brooks County town. At approximately 5:15 a.m., Brooks County 911 received a call that shots had been fired at a home at 161 Azalea St. The caller believed someone had been shot behind the home, said Georgia Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Steven Turner. “Brooks County deputies and the Morven Police Department arrived and found the bodies of two individuals behind the house,” said Turner.
