| Cascade County jail inmates charged with vandalism |

Two inmates held at the Cascade County Detention Center face new charges after allegedly damaging multiple cell doors Chaz Lewis and Trevor Freer were each charged with felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor disorderly conduct in Cascade County District Court. If convicted of the felony, they face up to 10 years imprisonment in addition to their existing sentences. According to charging documents, the two men became upset after an air circulation unit malfunctioned in the jail pod in which they were being held. A detention officer reportedly saw them place thick books near the hinges of three cell doors and slam them, causing the hinges to bend.
