HUTCHINSON, Kan. (KAKE/AP) — A corrections officer has been injured in a stabbing at a Kansas prison. At about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, an officer at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility was stabbed multiple times while working at the HCF-Central Unit. He was rushed to an area hospital, but he reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition. The officer has been identified as Tim Russell, a five-year veteran.
