Fort Myers police searched an area near Ballard Road for an escaped prisoner who fled from an Opa Locka prison back in May. Cristobal Martinez, 20, was charged with burglary of a dwelling, trafficking in stolen property and providing false information to a pawnbroker. He escaped on May 26 from the Opa Locka Community Release Center in Miami-Dade County, according to information on the Florida Department of Corrections website. Read More. |
