Attorney General Eric Holder names Oregon prisons director to national corrections advisory board

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. has named Oregon prisons director Colette Peters to a three-year term on the National Institute of Corrections Advisory Board.

The 16-member panel provides policy direction to the institute, an agency of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The institute provides a wide array of help to local, state and federal corrections agencies, including training, program development assistance and funding to support its initiatives.
