| Vermont brings opiate-replacement therapy to 2 prisons |

BERLIN, Vt. - The state will begin bringing drugs into two Vermont prisons. The drugs are given to inmates as part of opiate-replacement therapy. Previously, those determined eligible for the program left prison to receive treatment, but that's changing as part of the state's effort to fight Vermont's growing problem with hard drugs.
