| Regional jail board names new RSW chief |

FRONT ROYAL -- The Rappahannock, Shenandoah and Warren Regional Jail Authority on Thursday named William T. Wilson as its next superintendent. Wilson, 58, replaces interim superintendent Russell Gilkison, who has served in the position since the jail's first superintendent, Robert Mulligan, retired in July. Gilkison will work with Wilson as deputy superintendent, a position Gilkison held prior to Mulligan's departure. Wilson currently serves as the local facilities supervisor for the Virginia Department of Corrections in Richmond. His first day at the RSW Regional Jail is Wednesday. Read More. |
