| No inmates in or out of one Alabama prison due to tuberculosis outbreak |

A confirmed latent tuberculosis case has one Alabama prison on lock down. No inmates have been transferred in or out of Donaldson Correctional Facility since Sept. 16 after an inmate was diagnosed with the respiratory illness, according to an Alabama Department of Corrections spokeswoman. The Alabama Department of Public Health recommended the "cautionary measure," the spokeswoman wrote. An additional tuberculosis test is set for December. Read More. |
