| Inmates renovate N.H. summer camp that had bedbugs |

CONCORD, N.H. — Minimum security inmates are helping to renovate a New Hampshire summer camp where sessions were canceled this year because of an infestation of bedbugs. The bugs were found in two cabins at Camp Spaulding in Penacook in July. Managers decided the camp should undergo extensive treatment, including replacing bed frames, sealing the floors and walls, and steam cleaning. Four to six inmates from the Corrections Transitional Work Center in Concord are replacing old wooden bunk beds with metal ones. They will be painting the floors, ceilings and walls and building a new wooden deck. Read More. |
