| Jail guard, 5 others arrested in child exploitation case |

The Skagit County sheriff's office says detectives have arrested six men suspected of seeking young children on the Internet for exploitation, including a jail guard and a Navy sailor. One of those arrested, 28-year-old Kyle O'Connor, recently had been hired as a guard at the Whatcom County Jail. He was still undergoing training when he was arrested at Skagit Valley College about three weeks ago. O'Connor will face charges of patronizing a juvenile prostitute, immoral communication with a minor and a charge related to rape of a child in the third degree. Read More. |
