hree corrections officers were injured at the Five Points Correctional Facility on Tuesday after trying to break up a fight between inmates. According to the New York State Correctional Officers & Police Benevolent Association, four officers rushed to a cell at the Romulus prison around 8:10 p.m. to break up a "disturbance" between two inmates. While one of the inmates was taken out of the cell and placed in restraints, the second inmate reportedly put up a fight. Read More. |
