| Missing Marathon County jail inmate turns himself in |

The 20-year-old Marathon County Jail inmate who did not return from work release on Friday turned himself in to authorities on Monday. Dustin Gottschalk of Mosinee returned to jail on his own accord around 2:30 p.m. Monday, according to a jail spokewoman. Gottschalk left the jail at 11:10 a.m. on Friday to go to his job at Ski’s Meat Market on Rib Mountain Drive. He was supposed to return at 7 p.m. Before he went absent, Gottschalk was due to be released in December, according to a Marathon County Sheriff’s Department press release.
