SHELTON, Wash. (AP) -- The Washington Corrections Department says a 31-year-old inmate has died at the state Corrections Center in Shelton. In a statement, agency officials said Nicholas White was found hanging in his cell Thursday morning. Medical staff tried unsuccessfully to revive him. The department says that during morning recreation time, White's cell mate alerted prison workers that White had been acting strangely. Staff went to check and found him. Read More. |
