An inmate was found dead in his cell at the Ely State Prison after committing suicide, the Nevada Department of Corrections said in a news release on Friday. John Carroll, 35, was found on Thursday in his cell at the state prison, the prison system said. He was pronounced dead when White Pine County first responders arrived. Read More. |
