| Seven Caddo deputies receive promotions |

Seven Caddo deputies were promoted during a ceremony this morning at the Sheriff’s Office Re-Entry Facility. Demetria Parker was promoted to captain; Alfred Dinkins, lieutenant; Tamika Brewer, Frank Edmondson, Pam Purgerson, and Mike Vaitkus, sergeant; and Precious Marshall, Tele-communications Officer II. Parker oversees the Sheriff’s Work Release program. She joined the Caddo Sheriff’s Office in February 2000 and has worked in a number of areas at the Correctional Center, including Booking, Security, Classifications, Detention Records, and Special Investigations.
