An inmate who escaped from a Plainview prison Monday once worked as a Texas corrections officer. Charlie Davis, 36, worked as a correctional officer at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice’s Clements Unit in Brazoria County, said TDCJ spokesman Jason Clark. Davis has been missing from the Wheeler State Jail since Monday, and Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to his capture.
