Authorities were still searching Tuesday for two state inmates who escaped Monday. The inmates, from the Frank Lee Work Center in Deatsville, walked off their job assignments at a Montgomery County work site at 7:10 a.m. Monday, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections website. John Todd Pike, 39, who could be wearing an orange pull-over sweater, black skull cap and a pair blue jeans, is serving a two-year sentence out of Chambers County for fraudulent use of a credit card, the DOC site states.
