NIANTIC, CT (WFSB) - Six employees of the Department of Correction have been placed on administrative leave following an investigation. Sources told Eyewitness News that an inmate at York Correctional was treated so badly that she is now hospitalized at Yale-New Haven Hospital. The inmate reportedly fell face-first onto the ground trying to get into a wheelchair after announcing that she could not physically walk over to a desk to get medication, after being ordered to do just that.
