Torrington inmate from Casper dies of illness

A 61-year-old inmate at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington died Sunday after a lengthy illness, according to the Wyoming Department of Corrections.

Wesley Kenneth Wilson, originally from Casper, was sentenced to life in prison in April 1999 for aggravated assault and battery causing injury. Wilson was also found to be a habitual offender by a jury.
