| Nevada officials report female inmate death |

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Nevada prison officials have identified an inmate from the state women's prison who died at a Las Vegas hospital as 58-year-old Denise Lee Ellen Carlson. The Nevada Department of Corrections says Carlson was being treated for an unspecified medical condition when she died Oct. 30 at Summerlin Hospital. A department statement said prison officials were unable to locate and notify any family members. Read More. |
