| Tucson Air Branch conducts K-9 deployment training |

Tucson, Arizona - Office of Air and Marine agents from the Tucson Air Branch conducted aviation operations and aircraft familiarization training for many southern Arizona law enforcement partners Tuesday. Numerous local and state agencies from southern Arizona participated in air operations and aircraft familiarization with their K-9 partners, using one of the air branch’s UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters. Topics included numerous issues such as tactics, safety and operations. Tactically deploying K-9 units from aircraft can be beneficial when conducting rescues in rugged terrain or searching for suspects in areas with no easy access for ground vehicles. Read More. |
