MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) - If you're an ex-convict, finding a job after doing your time can be tough. In 2012, more than nine thousand were under court supervision in Shelby County. More than 20 percent were unemployed. Today, Memphis and Shelby County held a job fair for former criminals aimed at cutting those numbers down. People who want to work showed up early Wednesday to a special job fair for ex- offenders put on by the Tennessee Department of Corrections, Shelby County and Memphis.
