| Rice County Community Corrections take part in 'food fight' |

Corrections collected nearly 700 food items in its annual food drive. What began in 2007 as a food drive has continued to grow to the point where it’s now known as a friendly “food fight.” Stephanie Duhme, a Rice County probation officer, has organized the food drive event each year. Two years ago, she wanted to find a way to make an even greater impact, and with the department being staffed with 21 competitive people, she decided what better way to help others than to make it an internal competition.
