SAGINAW, MI — More than 22 years after he was sent to prison for a Wayne County murder, Steven D. Sandison murdered his prison cellmate at the Saginaw Correctional Facility, prosecutors say. Sandison, 51, is charged with an open count of murder in the Oct. 29 death of 67-year-old Theodore Dyer, who hailed from Grand Haven. Dyer, who was imprisoned for first-degree criminal sexual conduct against someone under the age of 13, died early Oct. 29 at the prison, 9625 Pierce in Tittabawassee Township. Read More. |
