| WV Fire Marshal accepts position with Division of Corrections |

West Virginia State Fire Marshal Anthony W. Carrico is leaving at the end of the year for a new position with the Division of Corrections. Carrico, 46, will serve as a corrections program manager with DOC. “I have totally enjoyed my 22-and-a-half years with the Fire Marshal's Office,” Carrico said in a release announcing his resignation Dec. 8. “I put my heart and soul into the agency, but an opportunity presented itself that would take me in another direction and I chose to take it.” Read More. |
