RICHMOND, Va (WVIR) - Lawmakers in Richmond have agreed to draft a bill that would improve conditions for corrections workers. Men and women with the Virginia Department of Corrections told officials about some of the appalling and dangerous conditions they face. "Can you all imagine a female getting assaulted? Feces, urine, everything thrown at them," said Officer Dionne Wyche to a panel of officials.
