CANTON — A Norfolk man pleaded guilty Monday in St. Lawrence County Court to possessing drugs while incarcerated in St. Lawrence County jail. Alexander J. White, 26, 27 Morris St., pleaded guilty to a reduced count of first-degree attempted possession of dangerous prison contraband in a plea deal with the district attorney’s office. On July 28, while serving a one-year sentence for resisting arrest, Mr. White was found to be in possession of an orange strip of Suboxone, violating the jail rules. Read More. |
