LAKEWOOD – The Ocean County Police Academy graduated a class of 48 new corrections officers on Wednesday, representing law enforcement agencies throughout the state. The Ocean County Corrections Department had the most officers in the class with 24 new corrections officers who are needed to staff the Ocean County Jail, which opened a $64 million addition in 2011.
