Torrington – Thomas Beverly, an inmate at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington, Wyoming, died Saturday, January 10, 2015, after a lengthy illness. Beverly was serving a 30 year sentence for first degree murder. His crime and sentence took place in South Carolina but he was transferred to Wyoming in 2007 under an Interstate Compact Agreement. Beverly was born on December 20, 1934 in Brewer, Oklahoma. As per departmental policy an autopsy has been ordered. |
