Wyoming officials say they still don’t know the cause – or the extent – of significant structural issues at the state prison in Rawlins. Since 2013, officials have been monitoring cracks in the walls of the state’s only maximum-security facility. But new damage that has been observed in recent months has intensified concerns that a costly fix will be required. Mel Muldrow is the administrator of the state’s Construction Management Division.
