| Commissioners OK jail study at $32.5K |

A company called DLZ Indiana LLC has been selected to conduct a feasibility study and life-cycle cost analysis on the Vigo County Jail after a unanimous vote Tuesday from the Vigo County Board of Commissioners. Creative Corrections was selected as a technical support and professional oversight firm. DLZ was one of three companies that submitted bids on the study in March 2014. The two others were RQAW and PMSI. Under the agreements with the county, DLZ is to receive no more than $14,500, and Creative Corrections is to be paid no more than $18,000. The total cost of $32,500 for the study is half of the $65,000 the Vigo County Council had appropriated for the study. Read More. |
