| 10 Dead in Prison Bus-Train Crash in Texas |

Ten people were killed Wednesday when a prison bus collided with a moving freight train in west Texas, the state Department of Criminal Justice said. Eight of the fatalities were inmates and two were correctional officers. Five more people — four inmates and one staff member — were injured in the incident outside Penwell and were taken to an Odessa hospital. The department said three of those in the hospital are in critical condition, two in serious. Read More. |
