ODESSA (AP) — The health of two inmates involved in last week’s deadly bus crash has improved. Texas Department of Criminal Justice spokesman Jason Clark said Sunday afternoon that Hector Rivera had been upgraded to serious condition and Damien Rodriguez had been upgraded to fair condition at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. They are among the five survivors of Wednesday’s wreck. Two guards and eight inmates were killed when a prison bus slid off an icy interstate and hit a moving freight train. Read More. |
