| Racine police to host public meeting on sex offender release |

RACINE (WITI) — The Racine Police Department invites the public to a sex offender notification meeting on Tuesday, January 20th at 6:30 p.m. at the Richard V. Polzin COP House 1900 16th Street. This meeting is in regards to Duane Thomas who will be residing at 4608 Durand Ave. Representatives of the Racine Police Department and Wisconsin Department of Corrections will be present to provide more information. This meeting is informational only and is not a forum for public comment. It is asked that only adults attend due to the subject matter. Officials are releasing the information to enhance public safety, awareness and protection. Thomas has been convicted of sex offenses and his criminal history places him in a classification level, which reflects the potential to re-offend. He is not wanted by the police at this time.
