The confessed killer of an ArkLaTex 11-year-old is set to walk free and that has more than one Louisiana town on edge. Phillip DeSelle killed Averie Evans and her body has never been found. On Thursday, DeSelle will be released from the Wade Correctional Center after serving 24 years of a 50 year sentence. The warden wouldn't release exactly what time DeSelle would be released because the final details are still being worked out.
