(WMC) - The Mississippi Department of Corrections is looking to hire more 100 new correctional officers. MDOC is holding interviews and screening at the three state prisons Saturday, Feb. 7. MDOC says this job is for those seeking job security with terrific benefits and opportunities for advancement. The MDOC is hiring for the Mississippi State Penitentiary (MSP) at Parchman, the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility (CMCF) in Pearl and the South Mississippi Correctional Institution (SMCI) in Leakesville.
