| Inmate from Washoe County dies in prison |

INDIAN SPRINGS, Nev. (AP) — An inmate serving time for a drug offense in Washoe County has died at a southern Nevada prison. Department of Corrections officials say 60-year-old Dale Prater died Thursday at High Desert State Prison in Indian Springs.
