LIMA, Ohio — Four prison workers at the Allen-Oakwood Correctional Institution have been disciplined for infractions in work rules related to the Sept. 11 escape of T.J. Lane and two other inmates. The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction’s disciplinary action ranged from two days off to a written reprimand. Thomas “T.J.” Lane III, convicted of fatal shootings at Chardon High School, and two other inmates, Lindsey Bruce and Clifford Opperud, used a makeshift 13.5-foot ladder to climb over a security fence onto the roof of an administrative building and jumped about 15 feet to the ground.
