Authorities say an inmate has died of injuries he sustained when he was stabbed during an inmate-on-inmate assault at a prison in northwestern Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections said Monday that 33-year-old Job Daniel Knighton of Erie was stabbed Feb. 10 with a homemade weapon at the State Correctional Institution at Albion in Erie County. Knighton was rushed to the hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly before noon Sunday at UPMC Hamot. Read More. |
