| Wyom. Corrections Director Resigns |

The search is on for a new state Department of Corrections director. Robert Ortega resigned the position effective November 14th. He cited personal and health-related matters. The governor's office received Ortega's resignation last week. Ortega came out of retirement to replace long-time Director Judy Uphoff, who left the agency last winter. Governor Freudenthal's press secretary says it's possible a new director will be named before Ortega leaves. |
