| Inmate found dead inside cell full of steam |

A 35-year old inmate serving a murder sentence at the Jessup Correctional Institution was found dead Friday in his cell, which was filled with steam, state corrections officials said Saturday. Investigators said it is unclear whether Louis Leysath's death was accidental or a suicide, but state public safety and correctional services officials said investigators do not suspect foul play. A spokesman for the state's Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services did not elaborate on the incident Sunday afternoon, citing an ongoing investigation. Read More. |
