| Georgia’s Department of Corrections Hosts Military Recruitment Job Fair |

The Georgia Department of Corrections, in conjunction with the Georgia Department of Defense, will host several law enforcement agencies and the GEO Group for a military personnel job fair on July 30 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Fort Gordon U.S. Army Reserve Center in Augusta. The participating agencies (GDC, Department of Juvenile Justice, and State Board of Pardons and Paroles) and the GEO Group have approximately 1,100 jobs available for military personnel returning from duty. In addition, the Department of Labor will be in attendance and will provide PC kiosks for applicants to access job information and will provide job counseling to applicants.
