| Inmate computers pulled from Napa jail over security risks |

Only five days after Napa County began an experiment to give inmates a taste of the Internet, the jail has abruptly logged off the program — at least for now. After receiving reports Tuesday night about alleged tampering with the tablets, the jail withdrew all of the touchscreen devices in hopes of improving their security, according to Bret Prebula, staff services manager for the Napa County Department of Corrections.
